Easy to Use*:
Wash your hands before unwrapping the filter.
1. Flush filter with cold water for 15 seconds.
2. Insert filter into reservoir. Press firmly.
3. Add cold tap water.
4. Replace filter every 40 gallons or 151 liters (about 2 months for the average family)†.
Remember:
Filter in package may be moist.
Rinse filter with cold water for 15 seconds before using.
Carbon dust is normal in first 1-3 fillings.

appear in your first three pitchers. Discard this water or use it to
water plants. For best results, store the Brita® pitcher in your
refrigerator or out of direct sunlight.
